Tapered forefoot designs prevent toe crowding

The PROTOBLAST sneaker experiments with Asics archives origins and reinterprets them for today. Advanced technologies are teamed with modern performance influences to create a design that looks and feels like the future. Key details from the GEL-100 running franchise were used to construct the midfoot, eyestay, and logo applications. Meanwhile, the midsole unit and toe design draw inspiration from the GELBURST and GEL-HOOP 6 basketball shoes. Inspired by ASICS performance running collection, this shoe also features FF BLAST cushioning. ASICS wanted to rethink the foams functionality by tuning it with everyday scenarios in mind.
